For the first time in the Ladner Tennis Cub’s 48-year history, we fielded two Men’s League Teams in the C1 and B2 Lower Mainland Divisions, with the C1s finishing 8th of 11, and the B2s winning their division!
Kudos to Ray King and Gary Porter, and Ray Mah and Matt Barker for organizing and being captains of their respective teams over several weekends of competition. Their volunteer commitments of time and effort are to be commended.
Congrats to both men’s league teams! Pictured below is the winning B2 team: Mike E, Bruce M, Mike S, Gary P, Ray K, Greg T, Peter Z, Tim S, Steve V, and Jack H.
We should also recognize that none of this was possible without the efforts of prior LTC boards. In 2015-2016 Frank Gauvin, Brad Danyluk, JJ Arignon. and our current President, Denise Reid made a two-year pitch to the City of Delta to have our deteriorated courts seriously upgraded. The pitch worked! We are now part of Tennis BC ’s Lower Mainland League family, and we all get to enjoy a beautiful facility. As the LTC grows, it would be great to add a Women’s team to the mix in the future!

Looking to get back in the game?
Join us at the LTC Open House on Saturday May 11th. The weather is supposed to be great, and our courts have just had their annual refresh (thank you, City of Delta!).
The Ladner Tennis Club is a great place to meet and connect with other players in the community!
Join us Saturday May 11th, see what our club is all about and meet our members. Bring your racquet and enjoy some rallies and/or games. New members welcome! We recommend that prospective members be able to comfortably play a match (able to serve, receive, rally) to get the most out of our club.
Have you joined our singles or doubles tennis ladders yet? They’re a fun way to get a lot of matches in against a variety of players!
Matches have begun and ladder updates will be posted here.
Check out our Ladders page to see the current list of Singles and Doubles ladders!
Initial ranking was determined through a random draw.
If you win a ladder match and it changes your place in the rankings, please make the changes on the ladder board in the LTC clubhouse hallway.
The Ladner Tennis Club is excited to announce our Open House on Saturday May 27th, celebrating the beginning of the 2017 tennis season. This is a bit later than in other years, but it’s for a very good reason… the Corporation of Delta has just re-surfaced all four of the tennis courts! Thank you to the Corporation of Delta for investing in the South Delta tennis community – we promise the courts will be put to good use!
The Ladner Tennis Club always welcomes new members, and we hope you’ll join us Saturday May 27th! Come see the new courts, play a little tennis, and enjoy some light refreshments. Full details below:
